Ms. O’day is a researcher at Stanford University’s Bio-X Interdisciplinary Biosciences Institute. She has a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Stanford University in 2017. O’Day works in two labs at Stanford, one based in bioengineering and one in Parkinson’s disease research. In tandem to her research, she and Gillian Kumagai, a Stanford librarian, launched The Parkinson’s Story Exchange, a platform that provides patients with an opportunity to tell their stories. She is a writer and co-editor for Stanford science blog The Dish on Science, Article on Peripheral Optogenetics. She is also the co-host of BOOM (Biomechanics On Our Minds) Podcast, initiative led by International Society of Biomechanics Student Representative Melissa Boswell.
